The Whispering Hills Property Owner Association (WHPOA) is the grantor clearing house for title companies, realtors and mortgage companies.
All property sales and transfers are subject to a Real Estate Transfer fee in the Whispering Hills Subdivision. The buyer of a property has the option to request a Resale Certificate in accordance with the Texas Property Code, Chapter 207 & 209.
A Resale Certificate is $200.00, is non-refundable once issued to an authorized requestor and payment is due prior to issuance of a Resale Certificate. Discuss this matter with your Real Estate agent or broker in advance of your signed contract to purchase.
The WHPOA maintains property records on all property owners in the subdivision. The WHPOA charges a transfer fee when property is sold or exchanged.
The mandatory property Deed assessment is $15.00 annually and is due June first. Late fees are assessed monthly and incrementally.
The voluntary POA membership fee is $20.00 annually and is also due June first.
The WHPOA fiscal year is May 1 to April 30. Contact the Board of Directors President or Treasurer to obtain information regarding fees related to the release of 'Non-Payment of Assessment' filings with Comal County.
